At the group, we provide numerous resources for people with fibromyalgia.

Fibromyalgia :-
There are leaflets and print outs that are available to take away with you.
These are to help you and your family/friends to understand what living with Fibromyalgia is like, and how we deal with it on a daily basis.
There are many accompanying symptoms that come with Fibromyalgia that you may not think. Such as I.B.S., Irritable Bladder, vertigo etc.

We can offer help with the following :-

- disabled bus pass application forms

Please note we are not able to complete the forms for you, but we are on hand to offer advice where/when needed. We may recommend you contact either C.A.B. or other agencies that are qualified to assist you further.

Warm Home Discount Scheme - a yearly amount paid to your energy provider if you are on the qualifying benefits. You need to contact your energy provider for more information, it is based on a first come first served basis. Also look at gov.co.uk for more information.

Severn Trent Water -
The Big Difference Scheme - you may be eligible for up to 90% off your water bill if you receive certain benefits.
There are also 4 other schemes you can apply for, it depends which is relevant to you.
There is The WaterSure Fund, Water Direct, Severn Trent Trust Fund and a tariff for single occupancy. Or you may be better off with a water meter if you live alone.

Blue Badge Application form - contact your local council via their website. There is a £10.00 charge for this for 3 years.
Even if you are not in receipt of high rate of D.L.A or enhanced rate of P.I.P. mobility, you may still qualify for a blue badge. This normally means an assessment will take place with your local council.

Help:-
Any of our committee and members will always have time to sit and chat with you. Between us we have a wealth of knowledge and understanding and we are always willing to help and offer support by sharing experiences on dealing with Fibromyalgia.
We have a good support network through our Facebook pages, messenger, texts, WhatsApp, emails or a phone call.

There is a coffee morning, on a Tuesday, when the group is not on. The group meets from 11.00am onwards ay Wetherspoons, Spon Gate, Coventry CV1 3AZ
